Job description for Team Leader

  • As the Team Leader you will manage the complexities and targets of demanding services within our prison based service at HMP Send
  • Translate targets and measure these into motivation and good morale
  • Distribute workloads
  • Quality control and running team meetings
  • Support and manage the team
  • Support the management team with the on-going development and delivery of our services
  • Ensure that the service meets its objectives and provide high quality support to our clients
  • Contribute to the service to ensure that service users consistently receive high quality services that adhere to best practice guidelines and achieve high professional standards

Requirements for the Team Leader

  • Experience of supervising or managing the work of others within the drug and alcohol misuse sector
  • Proven experience of monitoring and working in partnership with external agencies
  • Must have a level 3 award in a relevant subject or equivalent
  • Strong management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results and outcome-orientated
